Last Saturday, Feb. 1, in the Faith Formation Center, the junior professors and professors of Idente Youth were welcomed by the joy and warmth of some people from our parish of Our Lady of Solace-St. Dominic. The first formation session of the year of Idente Youth Bronx was celebrated here.
The president of Idente Youth in the United States, Yerania Galvez, M.Id., guided the young participants through the role, and what being a professor or junior professor of Idente Youth entails, and on the spirit of IY. The course offered an in-depth look at selected topics in a constructive and reflective manner, allowing participants to experience the style of IY. Everyone expressed gratitude and commitment to their role.
The training session is a focal point of IY Bronx, where members learn to envision Fernando Rielo’s dream in founding this international association, and make it a personal project. In fact, many of the participants proposed reviving IY in a nearby parish where it had been discontinued due to the pandemic.
