Idente married missionaries and members of the Idente Family of Santiago and Valparaíso are part of the new council that has met in Santiago deChile on Tuesday, February 13, to begin their work.
The new members began by reflecting on the first two chapters of St. Paul’s letter to the Philippians, in which the apostle explains how harmony and humility should impel a community to participate in the same spirit, having a compassionate heart, filling themselves with joy, and living together in the same love and in the same end.
This new council is very original: its president is Ana María Sará, a married missionary, an agronomist, who dreams as well of cultivating the spiritual life of many Chilean families. The vice president, Oscar Enriquez, with the structure and vigor of a good sailor, wants to sail offshore with the Idente Family. The treasurer, Lucila Candia, as a great pedagogue and administrator, wants families to see the need of humanity, to be generous with one another, and to promote projects to help those who need it most. And the Secretary Betty Andonaegui, idente missionary, secretary by profession, is very neat in knowing how to write down and project all the dreams of the team.
After a meeting of intense work, this first meeting was concluded with a meal and moments of authentic coexistence, in the characteristic style of the Idente Family. Chile dreams of an Idente Family that reaches many Chilean families through seminars, meetings, solidarity and coexistence; to help heal their wounds.
