Father, You granted your beloved son Fernando the grace of hearing your voice and following your Divine Son, Jesus Christ,
under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, when You said, “Be holy, my son, as I, your Father, am holy” (Mt 5:48).
Grant that I, too, by following his example, may fully live out the love to which You call me.
In imitating your Son, Jesus Christ, our Firstborn Brother, and feeling we are also your children,
may all of us make your name known and worship You.
I ask You, Father, to glorify your son Fernando
and to grant me, through his intercession, the grace which I request… (the intention should be expressed). Amen.
